On the first day of Mochizuki Akira’s assignment in Special Investigation Department, receives a threatening call. It tells them that 4 people have been kidnapped and the demands go by riddle. Unfortunately, the director chooses to ignore the call and they receive a dead body in front of Tokyo Tower the next day.

Failing to convince the director and Chief Yamaji, Mochizuki harshly goes to make her own investigation. Even with Mikami Kaoru’s help, the dead bodies keep coming, forcing Criminal Investigation team, to take the case.

It was Mr. Motosonobe who brings the light to these investigators with his profiling ability. The skill has not yet being admitted to aid the investigation, but it’s proven to be another weapon to capture criminal. Will Mochizuki able to catch the kidnapper?

Yeah, it was quite shocking for me to not having Yukihira under the spotlight. Instead of the cool cold Yukihira, the rookie Mochizuki plays her part. Well, I’m not against the story; I’m just not a Kitano Kii’s fan. She’s too emotional and makes people uneasy. Urusai onna! But, I do admit that she has a nice voice. I’d like to hear her singing without even need to look at her face.

As the pattern continues from the series and the movie, this this I won!!! I knew the mind behind this case from the beginning. This reminds me a little case happen 3 days ago in office. My friend lost her ID card and she suspected our senior. This senior is quite nasty and loves to put prank on her. So, she was assured that this guy in the criminal. I also put myself in the suspect’s list since I tend to forget things easily. I might have brought the ID card along without noticing it. After long discussion (mostly she’s convincing herself that this senior is our biggest suspect), I realize that in the drama, the criminal is also the one we thought would never do that. A few minutes later, her best friend popped bringing her ID card. It seems like she forgot that she took along when they separated this morning. Yup, the case ended without us even making a move. If there’s one victim, it would be our senior. Lucky we hadn’t accused him. lol
