Sakakibara Kouichi has to move to his mother’s hometown due to his
father’s job. He never expects to meet such an anomaly here in small town Yomiyama.
Urban legend lies and spreads from generations about the death of a popular
student named Misaki 26 years ago. But, the rest of the class took her as she
was still there. Years later, the table is still in the class and the girl went
along with the class.
Sakakibara has been seeing a girl sitting in the back of the class 3.
They also met in hospital. She introduced herself as Mei Misaki. Strangely,
she’s always in the spot where weird things happen and Sakakibara can’t help
but feeling curious about her.
Who is she? Is she related to the urban legend that has been cursing
the Class 3 for years?
Ah, there are numerous anime by the same theme: the hero moves to a
village and caught in the local legend. Isn’t it just petrifying local
mystique? They made it as villages were creepy for being small and isolated. Great. Horror always appears in the absence of light and in our life knowledge is
the light.
