OMG. From the mouth of children, those words are surely convincing. Though they might not able to define friendship like sentences we read on books and dictionary, but I really thing they got the feeling.
Their pureness make it posible to maintain such a good relationship. It's an oposite in adult's world where people get together mostly because they benefit each other. Am I wrong?

This is a movie taken from the best selling novel with the same title. I read it long time ago so I barely remember the plot.

"Nothing you remember has survived"

It's about two boys: Amir and Hasan. The first is born as son of the rich who less agresive and eager of love. The later the son of janitor who always take care of Amir. Though they're different, but they get along so well. Until one day, Hasan is sexually abused and Amir could not do anything seeing that happen. Feeling guilty, Amir refused to see his best friend. On top of that, he took off to America hoping that he could leave the memory behind. But, that guilt coule never be released.

Years after that, he receive a phone call from his father's best friend. He's been told to come to his hometown to get a boy. That boy is the son of Hasan, his long unforgotten best friend. Now Hasan is dead and Amir finds the shocking truth that the man was also his father's son. The one he bertrayed and the one he longed to is his brother.

" Now there's a way to be good again"

It's time for Amir to pay all the debt he has to Hassan. He's coming to the land of Afganishtan to get his son. Though it's dangerous, but this is something he has to do. He would show the boy the blue sky where he and Hassan used to run for.

They fought a lot at first, but as they get to know better, kotaro and ann make a good family.

Having responsibility turns a boy into a man. That's the main idea of this dorama. When you're alone, you're free to do careless things. But, when you have a kid, you have to show the best example for him/her. You also need to protect the kid from various reason, physically and emotionaly.

When i watch this dorama, i can't say anything else but, "yappari, oya wa sugoi ne", "parents are amazing," It makes me love my mother more than before.

Well, Momo Yuki is one the kind. She might have brighter future as violist but she choose to play in her own way. The tournament is over for her and her parents send her to elite private girl-school.


She's not accustomed with the the rules and always try to find way to escape from boring school life. One day, she accidentally come inside an old school building and finds a beautiful scrip called Sakura no Sono.

Soon, as she tell her fellow school mates about it, they're interested in performing the drama. It seems like the drama has been traditionally performed every year long time ago. But, 11 years ago, they suddenly stop doing it and now they forbid Yuki to start it again.
What's the mystery behind it? Is Yuki going to accept it just like that?

Well, I wouldn't buy the DVD if only Tomo doesn't appear in the movie. In fact, that's the only reason of me watching it. I mean, the girls are...girls! and they're not cute. They're actually boring and I don't really like drama.ha ha

17 Again

37 years old Michael O'Donnel had enough with his life. He has 2 rebellion kids and his wife is kicking him out of house. He doesn't make any progress at office and his promotion is given to some chick who just been there for two month. He's desperate and losing control until he meets an old janitor who send him back to his 17 years body. He asks his best friend, Ned, to get him into their old high school. For Mike, it's a chance to get his glory back. He was a basketball star and at the very important game, he was about to be recruited to university club. But, at that moment, his girl friend told him that she was pregnant and he left the game for her. It's over for them and for the last 20 years he kept whining how she has ruined his life.

But, now he has another chance to experience the golden age. However, the more Mike gets into the game, the more he realizes that it's not about him. He sees his daughter dating a basketball star jerk that she might ended up like her parents. And his son, whom he thought to be popular, is stuck in toilet being bullied by the populars. He has to help them. That's a problem a father should resolve.

It's hard to convince me to watch this movie. But, we had limited choice at that night. So, Ami-ami successfully drag me into the cinema. And I can't regret it, because it's so funny. It would not be completely funny when you watch it on DVD, but because there are bunch of people laughing at the same time, the climate changes. And it's cool. You have to watch it, on cinema!

Here at Suzuran High Boys School aka Crows school, a man's worth is determined by his fist. It is the school of delinquents where many yakuza made of. However, nobody ever get his hand on the whole of Suzuran. But, Takiya Genji comes to this school to be the king. He's been promised by his dad that if he succeed taking over the crows school, he would be given the right to succeed the yakuza business. Genji, the stiff strong heart boy, gets good advice from Ken, the Suzuran graduate.





It has been his unfulfilling dream for having Suzuran in his hand, so he helps Genji to make good strategy winning it. Soon, Genji gets many followers, but his biggest rival is Serizawa Tamao, the King of Beast from the third grade.





I've been longing this movie since last year. it's so cool. I even planned to read the manga (which I never did cos I always forget to download it). It's actually a simple delinquent story with the same meaning inside: "In the path of fighting, the stronger you are, there will always be stronger opponent. it's a demon circle you can't escape."



However, the ikemen are something I can't resist. Shun is perfect for Genji's character. It's like combining the characters of Hanazawa Rui (Hanadan), Sano Izumi (Hanakimi) and Shinichi Kudo (Metantei Conan) inside Genji Takiya. He's strong, cool, unsocialized but easy to get girl.
Takayaki Yamada plays the chibi king of beast, Tamao Serizawa. He does look chibi standing next to 188 cm Oguri Shun. I like him when he played the otaku guy in Densha Otoko.


There are also the twins from Flame ( Iguess their names are Izaki yusuke and Hisato). As I remember, they played in fantasy movie, devilman. My favorite is Takaoka Sousuke who plays Izaki. He's been playing bad boy lately. Remember Tokyo Tower (2008), and Rookies? What happen to that sweety in Battle Royale...hmm...I miss his cute side. But, he's cool. I hope he can his major rule soon.

Thanks to his fierce look, Ryuji has been labeled as delinquent. While actually he's a sweet nice boy. He's the nurturance drive inside. He's kind and dependable of all house chores. He always takes care of his lousy childish mother who works as hostess to make them a living. There are only two of them in small apartment, but they're happy.

On the other side, Taiga is a lonely brutal girl. She lives alone in luxurious mansion and hardly can do anything about the house. The place is smelly because she never cleans it and she’s often in hunger since she doesn't cook.
Fate brings them together. Ryuji is having a crush on Taiga's friend, Minorin, and Taiga is secretly like Takamura, the only friend Ryuji has. One day, Taiga decides to write him a love letter. Yet, she's so clumsy and ends slipping the envelope inside Ryuji's bag. Realizing the mistake, Taiga tries to take it back in force, but she fails. She continues pursuing the envelope at night. She breaks into Ryuji's house. She's eagerly wants to kill him to stop her feeling shameful. It's so stupid since she actually forget to put the love letter inside the envelope. Taiga is so desperate so that Ryuji tries to make her feeling better by telling how stupid he does when he falls in love: he wrote songs for Minorin. That night, they promise to help each other's love.

It started with a novel, but I can't find it online. Yet, I managed to download the manga which is very amusing, just like this anime. I just hope somebody make this story into dorama. It would be great. May be Koki could be Ryuji since he has that yakuza fierce look. he he.

Well, the main point of this story is that happiness waits for everybody. No matter how bad you (or people) think you are, you deserve it. Yes, people judge from the appearance. But, that way you can easily find your true friends. They are who can seek inside you and pull your best. They’re who trust you even when you distrust yourself.

Aoi is very strict to her and punishes her every time she makes mistake.


There's a secret lies in the family blood. Every daughters are cursed to turn into horrible form when they reach the age of 29. It happens for generation.
Orochi sees everything when human lost their sense because they hardly see the most precious thing.

I never like Mitsuki Tanimura, because she always plays gloomy character, except in Mei Chan no Shitsuji (She's so funny!). The other women are beautiful, bijin jousei: Yoshino Kimura and Noriko Nakagoshi. Though I don't know them, but they're amazing.

Madagaskar: Escape 2 Africa

As the penguins finish fixing the plane, Alex and his friends are ready to leave Madagaskar. They want to go back to New York. Unfortunately, the engine breaks on their way and here they fall again in new forest. It's a strange place where there are so many lions like Alex, giraffes like Melman, Hippos like Gloria and zebras like Marty. It's Africa's reservation! Their genuine habitat.





Soon, they get along with the animals. Alex also finds his lost parents. They thought he was died when he was kidnapped by some hunters years ago. Now that his son is back, Zumba, Alex's father is asking him to take his position as the leader, Alpha Lion. However, there's politics Alex must conquer in order to be accepted. On the other hand, Gloria finds herself sexy man while Melman feels sick of an illness he never knew. Marty loves the zebras, but realize that among them, he's nothing special.



This is the movie about believing in your friend and your true self. You'll love it.

Deep inside him, he wish to become Narumizaka.

One day, he was hit by a man with bike. That guy is a beauty specialist. He gives Bon 3 bottles that can change his appearance. Each only lasts for 24 hours. This is Bon's chance to be Narumizaka. But, is it going to make him happy?






This is a simple story with the everybody-know plot, Cinderella. But, I still love it.

SP special

Inoue Kaoru is a competent SP (Special Police) who has sharp instinct. He can detect any anomaly from the distance. He's also one of the best student in police school. But, his past is very sad. His parents were stabbed in front of his eyes in the crowd. They were attending a beaurocrat campaign whom now become Prime Minister. Though the stabber spends years in jail, Kaoru never able to work on the trauma. Now that he has to fight the terrorist, he shows no mercy and full alert so that he can protect the VIP.
Though he's been doing so, rumors blew that security system leaked to enemy causing VIPs in danger, including the Prime Minister. Every SP is interogated. And in this interogation, Kaoru's past is the focus of superior's attention. He's probably the one with the motive. Is that so?

It's been a long time since I watched Junichi Okada on screen. He's still cute, even with that lousy hair cut. The movie is great, too.

V6 sings the amazing soundtrack, Way of Life.

The first suspect is his ex wife who live with her daughter. The victim was seen coming to the ex's apartment at the night he was murdered. However, both the suspect and her girl have perfect alibi. It's annoying because it is too perfect. Utsumi Kaouru (Kou Shibasaki), the beautiful detective asks Yukawa to help her investigation. As he digs a little bit deeper, it leads to his former college friend, Ishigami, a genius math teacher. Could this be a battle between two geniuses?



It's funny and cool. I'd love to watch the dorama which's hard to find.

Dear Friends

Keiko Kitagawa plays Rina, the queen of night club who doesn't believe in anyone. She has no friend, because she only takes advantage from people around her. One day, she falls on the dance floor. Medical result shocks everyone: Rina gets breast cancer. She shuts her life for none, even for people who wants to help. It's Maki who always come to visit her even though Rina yells at her. Maki gives her hope and shows her the real meaning of friendship.








I read the manga and I cried. It was such a great story. The movie is ok, but I really suggest you to read the manga. You can find the review here (sakuramochi.co.nr/dear-friends/).
I'd like to take note from this movie. I think even in your darkest time, there's always light. It's just about time when you start seeing it.







We can only sure that the one we love is the right friend for us after passing the storm. Whoever survive, then she/he's the one we should care about. I quote Oprah's word," Many people would like to go with you in Limo, but less who want to walk with you when the car is repaired", Well, she said something like that. So, is the one you care is your true friend?

Wataru was only a normal kid until his father decides to leave the family. His parents are going to divorce. On his depressed, he finds out about Mitsuru Aikawa's travel to other world. He follows him and at that weird world he's promised to get happiness he asked for if only he can complete the journey. Wataru is officially a traveler.


He has to collect 5 gems before making wish. His journey is not easy, but he's a tough and sincere boy. He makes friend with funky Kee Kema and cute Meena. Together, they try to stop the world's end in Mitsuru's hand.

Abe Hiroshi is definitely my most favorite actor all time. Despite of my liking of ikemen, I realize that the one that make me comfortable is the guy who can make me laugh. It's him. He's able to pull out every stupid characters into live action. Name Sakuragi (Dragonzakura), Nirasawa (Change), Ueda Jiro (Trick, I prefer call him Uedaruma..lol) and above all...KEKKON DEKINAI OTOKO!!





This dorama is about a man named Haruo who spent 9 years at jail to wish for his ex girl friend's happiness. Mariko was sick and he killed somebody to get the 8 million's hospital fee. But, as soon as he gets out, he faces shocking news: she's dead.



He also finds out that the girl friend left with a man, Murakami Koji, on her last years. He quickly takes assumption. The man should take his lover's money, otherwise she could survive. Haruo visits Koji in his bakery. He asks him to return the money Koji never know about.

Koji lives with his sister in law and Mariko's daughter. They're frightened to have this ex-prisoner on their door and playing pranks on their shop.

well, this is drama, but i'm eager to watch it.

The last survivor must be the real God. Naoko can reveal the three fake Gods’ tricks. But, as they defeated, they were found dead few hours later.



On the other hand, Jiro also goes to the village. He has heard that the village kept a big treasure. That’s where he meets Naoko and makes her a bargain. Together, they have to solve every mystery.
So, who’s the killer of three Gods? And does the treasure really exist?

God Hand Teru

Mahigashi Teru is a clumsy young doctor recruited as the member of the elite Valhala team. Valhala is what they named Yasuda Kinen Hospital for the advance in medical service. The director, Yasuda Junji gathers all great doctors from all over the land. It means there are only talented people here.

Nah, it makes you wonder why the hell this Teru guy could get in?
It's connection, of course. ha ha ha. That's a simple explanation. Teru is the son of prodigy surgeon, Mahigashi Kousuke who died 18 years ago. The blood lines seem to give him ability to feel patient's breath and save him.

For all his professional life, Teru never loss a single life. He's definitely inexperience, but his will to save people is higher than anyone. He's too stupid to shoot, but he can clearly identifies horrible disease.
Whenever the patient's life in pinch, he turns into The God Hand Teru who can operate smoothly and perfectly.


well...well...you read the manga right? It's not recommended to watch the dorama, unless you love ikemen.
yup, there's Yuta Hiraoka who finally get his leading role here.


there's also Yagami Ren whom I really like for his role in Tokyo ghost Trip.



then, don't forget Nakabayashi Taiki who looks like host.

As Professor Jack Hole assume, the ice is melting from the pole. He tried to persuade the Vice President to make a moving about it. It's useless, he's ignored. But, the prediction comes faster that anyone expect. Soon big waves blow every shores. Iced rain poured in all over the globe. The global warming has taken effect.

"For years we operated under the believe that we could continue consuming our planet's natural resources without consequence. We were wrong, I was wrong"

Jack sees many people die on tornadoes. Every land is covered by flood. But, the government is too slow. At the same time, Sam, Jack's son, is going to New York for math competition. New York soon become isolated city. Snow falls deeply and the temperature decrease dramatically. As time passed, nobody should not walk our the door, otherwise they'd be frozen.

"Mankind survived the last ice age, we're certainly capable surviving this one"

Jack decides to pick Sam in New York. But, how is he going to do that? The weather is so bad that airlines cancel every flight, the train can't run because of flood. He tries using car, but the snow is so thick so he has to walk for the rest of the journey. It's not easy and he has to make sacrifice, however this is what a dad should do!

Well, this is not a story about a scholar saves the world. he's not that big. it's just about a father trying to rescue his son. No matter how you look it, it so deeply touchy. You can not save humankind, if you can't even keep the promise to your kid. That's what dependability all about.
in addition, if comes to disaster, no matter how smart or rich the country is, it just a small fry in front of God. So, leave the cocky attitude. Look deeper and start with clear mind that none of us higher than anyone else, except for the faith level.
