Tokyo Ghost Trip



Inui family has been blessed with the ability of Ghost busting. They even make it a business. As the family goes bancrupt, the boys has to work hard to pay bill. Souwa (Ouji) and Setsu (Juri) together with their other brothers: Kai, Komyo and  Ryu have to open the business by themselves.

They takes clients who have problem with spirits. Well, it's not an easy task. Sometime it worth a life for it. They have to deal with bad spirits or even shinigami (The Death Reaper, played by Shindo Gaku).




If you think this is a horror dorama, you are completely wrong. This is comical ridiculous story and backed up with ikemen (cute guys) as the actors.

Minakata Jin (Osawa Takao) is supposed to be a great surgeon.After his fiancee lies in vegatative stage due to his operation, he always blame himself. He becomes a lame doctor who don't take his job seriously.

One day, he faints and wakes up in Edo Period. Yeah, he experiences time travel. In the city he never knew, he soon gets surprise!


It's confusing being in strange era, but he finds out that his skill is a universal language. When a samurai attacks him, he's saved by a man named Kyotaro (Koide Keisuke). However, his savior is badly wounded after the fight. Jin manages to treat the injury even though he's lack of medical equipment.


It's a very good dorama. The first episode gets 16.5% rank in viewership.

Taisho Takyu Musume



This story happens in Taisho 14 (1925) april. Koume is a daughther of a western restaurant owner. Even so, her father is very strict and has Meiji spirit inside. He never allows Koume to wear sailor uniform.

 

At the same time, Akiko san, Koume's classmate, asks her to join her playing baseball. Akiko tries to proof that woman can do many thing as men. However, at that moment baseball is somehow 'prohibited' for women. Not only because of the hard sport, but also the equipments are only made for men. Joining the club would gain protest from parents and school (Koume goes to girl's academy).

 

Moreover, they are completely blind about this sport. The first time they see The Waseda team playing, they got shocked of how bad they could be beaten. Koume even thinks of giving up, but she can't leave Akiko by herself.

Soon, they have to gather the other 7 members. Anna sensei is willing to help too. Saa, do you think they'll be able to make it?

Raised by Nobunaga as shinobi, Goemon grows deep loyalty to the big man. He came from noble family, but he saw his father committed seppuku in front of him, while his mother was slaughtered after sending him away. Nobunaga asked Hattori Hanzou to teach Goemon to be a ninja. Together with his fellow, Saizou, Goemon worked his best to be a great warrior. Nobunaga trusted him to take care of his niece, Chaca-sama.

After Nobunaga sama died, Goemon felt sick of the world of powerful and choose a freedom. He, then, become a chivalrous thief. One day, he enters a mansion and takes a lot including a beautiful blue box. As always, he spreads all the things he stole to the poor. Koheita, a poor boy with a sich mother, is happy to get the box.

However, it's not just a box, it's a Pandora box. Goemon had entered the mansion of Akechi Mitsuhide, former Nobunaga's vassal. Mitsuhide killed Nobunaga by setting fire in the temple Nobunaga stayed and then get stabbed by Hideyoshi. Actually, Hideyoshi and Mitsuhide made a deal to take the top position. But, as Mitsuhide vanished, Hideyoshi claimed as the one taking revenge for Nobunaga's death. He took the crown and becomes Taiko. Mitsuhide put the secret location of the letter of understanding inside the box.

As Goemon finds it, his carefree live is over. Mitsunari Ishida, one of Hideyoshi's shoguns, assigns Saizo to find the box. When two best friends meet again, it's hard not to let feeling interfere the job. Saizo is almost killing his best friend when Hattori Hanzo helps Goemon. He also buys the box from Goemon. Hanzo works for Tokugawa Ieyasu who calmly waiting for the perfect chance to be the number one.

However, Goemon has already realized the meaning of the agreement and decides to kill Hideyoshi. On the other side, Mitsunari is also working on coup d'etat. He commands Saizo as the slaughter. But, Saizo is captured and when Goemon saves him, Mitsunari kills Saizo's wife. He also threats Saizo to keep silent in front of Hideyoshi. The Taiko holds Saizo's son and gets Saizo to surrender.

In front of the town's people, Saizo claims himself as Goemon and protests how Government has only thinking of their own mouth and let people suffer. Hideyoshi pushes Saizo into boiled water along with his little boy.

Seeing his best friend killed so tragically, Goemon once again tries to kill Hideyoshi. When the Taiko dies, it begins another war. Mitsunari and Tokugawa are making contest to take the top.

This movie is superb. It's like seeing NHK's dorama in 2 hours. There are so many stars even though they just have minor roles. Let's see, are you familiar with Erika Toda, Takeru Sato, Tamayama Tetsuji, or Mayumi Sada? Yeah, I only writes the young actor/actress. Lol.

This is the second time I watched Kiriyaki sensei's movie. And I think he improves a lot. There are some scenes that look like Cassern, but this one is more fantastic. The interpretation of Hideyoshi's era is amazing. Not to mention the actors choose for every role. It fits my imagination,

Aoi Bungaku


Taking the background of Japan in the sixties, the story is quite dark. The main character is a young man from wealth family. He's blessed with good looking face and intimidating aura. Women fall in love with him in an instant. However, he doesn't get the required love from his father and siblings. That's why he tries rebellious act.

Instead of making his path to follow his father career as politician, he chooses a life as an artist. He even makes a fake group of protest against government only to take money from those poor guys.

On top of that, he kills woman who likes him…

His life is ashamed!

 

 

It's very dark psychological anime. Somehow you can feel the depression he had for long time. I personally think that he's pathetic, right? He has the power, money and attraction to make his life better, but he just chooses to be a victim.

At the same time, Kotaro hears news that his classmate is in trouble. Though he knows how powerless he is, he keeps challenging the bad guy. At that moment, he suddenly turns into samurai like the one he read from the book.
Kotaro consults with his father about it. The father assumes that he might be the descendant of the great samurai!

To Aru Kagayaku no Railgun

In Academic city, where 80% of the population is student, technology developed rapidly. New machines are everywhere. But, what are they studying here? It's something a technology can't deal with, ESP power!

People with strong power sometimes slip their way. That's why crime happens. To defense innocent people from that damage, Judgment is reformed. It consists of people with high sense of justice and obtains high level of power, like Kuroko.

 

Though Kuroko is a skilled one, she admires Misaka Makoto. She's one of the strongest people in Academic city, a girl who's in level 5 power. Misaka comes from wealth family, but she act recklessly and a quick handed.

 

 

It's kinda funny, but I sense strong feeling of yuri. So, I'm still considering whether to download the next episode or not.

However, the plot is quite interesting and the way they express the feeling of friendship remains me of my circle. Though we don't hang around a lot recently, we shares stories through email and messenger. And every time I saw their names on the chat list, I was overwhelmed with happiness. Though I don't do anything for them, but they give a lot to keep me away from loneliness.

Canaan

A synesthesist is a person who can use 5 different senses: vision, hearing, taste, touch and smell, at the same time. Canaan is one of them. She's currently working as an assassin. Her only goal is taking revenge to Alphard, the leader of rebellious group, Snake.

 

If it wasn't because Maria Oosawa (Geez, her name resemble the porn star!), Canaan would be sucking so deep in hatred. There's no way you can counter hatred with hatred. Maria taught her ayatori (a Japanese game using finger which could prevent Alzheimer) and they become friends ever since. Maria is a Japanese happy-go-lucky camerawoman. Her nature lights the darkness inside Canaan. Canaan has someone to protect now!

 

Canaan's current job is to erase people infected with UA virus. The damage caused by the virus is life taking! One would have his blood coming out from every spot of his body leaving a mark like flower. Maria is actually infected, too, but it doesn't seem to affect her at all.

 

On the other side of the world, Alphard is caught by CIA. But, it doesn't take long for her to get away. No rope can stop her. No troops can hold her. And she's coming for Canaan!

Shouta wakes up in a weird world. But it's definitely Shibuya. Shouta can see the building of Tokyo 109 next to the same building but different title, Tokyo 108.  Not knowing the place or even his story, he wanders around and meet a girl chased by some guys. That girl is a leader of another gang in Shibuya.
It seems like fighting between gangs are often happen in this crash world. Shota finds himself to be a part of Palmhands. When they're fighting with a bunch of ladies he saw earlier, a man interferes. He looks like a priest, but then he transform into a beast and kill one of the girl. A girl comes down to help. She's called Ema. With a suit like a hero, she smacks the beast.
Ema says that Shota is not his real name. But, she refuses to tell him what happen in this world. What is going on here? Can Shota reveal the mystery inside?

Ichigo is shy since she has no talent in music, like her sister, Natsume. She even wins a piano competition. Ichigo feels depressed thinking that her mother loves Natsume more than she is.
While everyone is celebrating Natsume's winning, Ichigo wanders around and find herself attracted to sweet smells. There's a sweet fiesta in the spot. Ichigo can't help herself but taking too many cakes. Among the cakes, there's one who taste similar like her grandma's. She used to run a home made bakery and always gave Ichigo a cute cake whenever she felt down. Actually, Ichigo's grandma took her baking class at St. Marie, it's the same like the patissier for this fiesta, Mr. Pierre. He's amazed by Ichigo's ability to differentiate taste and ingredients only by one bite. He suggests Ichigo to enroll to St. Marie. It makes her remember her childhood ideal: becoming a patissiere like her grandma.
But, St. Marie is the world of talent. Student from all over Japan compete to be the best. Can this klutz little Ichigo survive?


Some find their dream soon, others might late, but all of us have dream. And those dreams should be chased in order to live life the fullest. Without a goal, a human is just a leave blew by the wind.

I actually love sweets. I consume chocolate like eating rice. I always put 3 spoons of sugar for my tea. Ha ha ha. But, I don't like cake. I can't eat cake as much as ichigo. Only seeing that amount of sweets makes me wanna throw out. Nande darou?

Miracle Train

I personally think it's creepy when you walk into an empty train. But that's what happens if you ride miracle train. You walk in, and it seems none inside. Somehow, they suddenly appear in front your very eyes: those 6 ikemen. They are the representation of stations along the oedo line. They are Shinjuku, Roppongi, Ryogoku, Shiodome, Tsukishima and Tocho.
And you start wondering why you're here. Well, the conductor chooses woman in trouble or lost to be their passenger. Those stations will hear you and help you solve the problem.

This is fantasy but I have a lot of questions inside: why are they ikemen? Why they only help beautiful woman? What's a guide for since she never be in the journey? There are a lot of characters, but some of them are not really doing anything in the story.

It really doesn't make sense. I get bored since the first episode. But, for those who like light story, this is the one for you. There are also many trivia about train that can make you a tetsu! Lol.

G-Force

Dr. Ben had developing new tools to improve communication between human and animal. he chooses 3 guinea pigs and a mole, so that they're able to convey message like us, human. Darwin, Blaster and Juarez plus Mooch,  are trained to be the US secret service. They're able of doing things FBI can't do in 3 years within only a night: sneaking into Saberling Industry.

Saberling has been known all over the world as the largest home equipment supplier. But, behind that, Leonard Saber, the CEO, is planning something terrible for human kind. That's what the little animals are trying to find out.

While they're fighting the real bad guy, the FBI is trying to close down Dr.Ben's laboratory. Now, Darwin etc have to run away from their chaser. They stuck in Pet Shop and meet a fat hamster named Huxley who believe that Darwin is his brother.
Juarez and Blaster are then adopted by two crazy siblings. They promise to meet again at Dr.Ben's house. The Saberling's plan is only 19 hours ahead. How are they gonna stop that world's destruction?




It's a very short movie, only 88 minutes. But, it's enough. otherwise it would become so boring. I didn't even know what G-Force was until my friend forced me to accompany her watching this movie. It would be much funnier when you watch it with many people.

Koishite Akuma

This is a story about a young vampire who hasn’t got any fang yet. He would get it if he found his destined woman who would gave her eternal youth and beauty through her blood. In order to find that special lady, he is sent to Human World where he serves as transfer student from Rumania.

 


His name is Kuromiya Ruka. He’s careless, unsocialized and bad tempered. He is now living with relative near the school. Unfortunately, that family has Chinese food Restaurant. Wow, it makes him dizzy to smell garlic from everywhere. They are also super enthusiastic. His aunt and cousin are always “attack” him in the morning with morning song to wake him up. She always opens the curtain in front of him so he HAD to get up. Then, they force him to join them in radio practice in the middle of the street. Whoaaaaaah…Ruka really wants to go to school as fast as he can.

 
 


However, it’s not like he has no problem at school either. Thanks to his good looking, he hardly finds any quiet place since every girl in the school always staring and talking to him. Aah! It’s so tiring.


Ruka is impatiens to get his fang so he tries to bite each girl, but nothing happens. He’s becoming more frustrated knowing that the other vampire who came after him has already got his fangs. It only took him a day to do that. Ruka feels like a loser and nothing he does could make him better. So, he goes out of school and wanders.

 

Natsukawa Makoto, the homeroom teacher, is very worried about him. She looks for him everywhere and end mistaking that he tried to suicide. Natsukawa sensei encourages Ruka to pull himself together and work for the best. When Ruka says that he won’t die, Natsukawa sensei is very happy. She suddenly slips, and then feels off the port. They’re not drowning but Ruka finds that his fangs have grown. What is this supposed to mean? Could this be that Natsukawa Sensei is the Destined Woman for him?


 

It’s quite funny dorama. I really like Rosa Kato because she’s so sweet. I think Kuromiya Ruka is one of the poorest vampires ever. But, don’t you think that attitude creates the destiny? I mean, he’s so gloomy that’s why everything seems so dark for him. It’s easy to complain. It’s easy to protest. Endurance is not something everyone could posses. However, wouldn’t it be easier if we just follow the nature and stop whining? It does more relieve that way. You won’t be emotionally burdened since you know the world is tough enough without you thinking it harder.

I also like Kyo Nobuo as the head master. 

Oh yeah. he has that adult attraction. And look at the guest! Takiguchi Yukihiro, my lovely fuku-butcho...:) He looks sweet!

 


But, what about this man! OMG! he doesn't even look like a vampire at all. I think they better change him with Gackt! (Don't you miss Sho of Moon child?)
